And who is the curator?

Glad you asked! Hi, my name's Cassi, and I'm a parent and published children's book author.

As a parent, I'm passionate about getting good books into my kids’ hands. And now that I'm a children’s author, I'm down-right zealous about doing the same for all kids.

  As an author, I see great books publish every month yet watch the same old favorites fly off shelves. Today’s books are made for today’s kids, but today’s adults could use a little help picking them out.

And that is just what we intend to do at Whimsy Crate!

Frequently Asked Questions

How will the subscription work?

Once a month, we will open to a limited number of new subscribers, and once subscribed, you’re child will automatically receive their Whimsy Crate each month.

What exactly comes in each box?

Each Whimsy Crate will contain a newly published picture book for children ages 4-8 as well as 3-4 high-quality enrichment items that relate to the book.

When can I subscribe?

We plan to ship out the first Whimsy Crates in September of 2026, so join the waitlist to be the first to know when we open to subscribers!

How will billing work?

When you place your order, you’ll be charged for your first box right away. After that, you’ll be billed on the 1st of each month for subsequent box deliveries.

When will boxes ship?

Boxes will ship between 15th and 20th of each month.

Can I cancel my subscription at anytime?

Yes! We'll be sad to see you go, but we understand that life happens. You can cancel your subscription at anytime directly from your account or via email.
